me: "yes actually you're right. tomorrow morning you have soccer!"
"mom? can i tell you something? i'm going to do my listening. and, i going to touch all the pilons and then [den], i going to run and i going to kick the ball and score the goal. and then, i going to do my points." [aka when he scores he points both index fingers over his head while he runs back to the wall].

uh, couldn't be more of a soccer mom if i tried.
