aunty k-ron.

once upon a saga of a soccer mom, i got this wicked message in my inbox from a cool guy named matt b. he let me know he had read this blog one late night when it popped up on his feed,  a]liked it and b]had made a news years reso to be an even better {and cooler if even possible those are his words not mine} uncle to his brothers fam aka the new cast of 19 kids and counting.

for one, it still surprises me and makes me smile every time someone reads this blog. whether they've read it a single time, or like someone in particular, read it so religiously it's equal parts astounding and awesome. and for two, that particular message really made me look at myself from an angle i haven't been looking at nearly enough: aunty k-ron.

there are three unbelievable kids who will grow to call me aunty k-ron:

i have to be honest. when i got matt b's message, i was embarrassed to realize that i haven't made my role as aunty k-ron high enough on the list of things to be awesome at.

but it is now. i'm making it a personal goal to bump it up a few notches and pay a lot more mind to how i can contribute to these three beautiful babies as they grow into awesome little people and then awesome full sized people later on.

so thanks matt b - for helping me add one more goal to the growing list. and fyi, just for being mentioned in this blog, i think you're officially even cooler. you're welcome.
