1. seeing marcus' face when he came downstairs to his little valentine's day surprises: a big sock monkey, organic jelly beans, a new book, and heart shaped confetti. he loved it. he calls his sock monkey 'my newest bud'.
2. yoga with a totally open heart. setting an intention to simply share love with everyone who could use a little extra. because seriously? who couldn't use extra love?
3. searching through 4 starbucks locations across the gta to find exactly the hardcover book you want to give someone really special.
4. marcus + me, sitting up at the bar at milestones, on valentine's day, looking rather sharp. him with a small cup of choco milk [GASP.] and me with my water and lemon. and us totally enjoying each other's company and him loving the attention everytime a pretty waitress stops to flirty with him. what a man in the making. we shared the perfect assortment of sliders, yam frites, and spinach dip.
5. my family.
6. my friends. especially the ones who are like, in the top ten of my favourite people in this world.

8. chai tea. i still love it.
9. knowing that there is so much love in our life right at this very moment. and on valentines day. and tomorrow. and next week. and we don't take any of it for granted. we are blessed in very big ways.
10. the fact that my son is a true toddler pimp and brought home a mighty haul of valentines:
we hope your vday brought you just a LITTLE more love than every other day. whether you spent it with someone, on the phone with someone, married, divorced, single, with friends, with your toddler .... we just hope you got some love ;)
